Straighten Natural Hair with a Blow-Dryer in 4 Steps
Step 1: Wash and condition hair.

Step 2: Apply a heat protectant.

Step 3: Separate hair into sections.
Part hair into four workable sections and clip away. Starting from the back hold the ends taut with your hand and use a blowdryer with a concentration nozzle attached to blow-dry hair. Position the nozzle downward, blowdrying your hair from the root to the ends. Continue this method for each section until hair is completely dry. Alternatively, you can use a round brush or a blowdryer with a comb attachment to help you blow-dry your hair. If you choose to use the brush opt for one with nylon bristles as the brushes that are made of metal bristles heat up and may cause damage to your hair.
Step 4: Style hair and complete.
